Nisha Grover studied Textile Design at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, London. Since graduating in 1996 she has been involved with a wide range of projects including private and educational commissions, interior and mural design, school and community workshops. She has also continued to work on her painting collections which have been exhibited in various galleries and venues across the Midlands.

Nisha’s work is inspired by creation, the earth and nature with its abundance of organic shapes and natural patterns, along with her spiritual and religious beliefs. The artistic traditions of India, with its colour, vibrancy and highly decorative art techniques have also influenced her work. She experiments by combining acrylic painting, mixed media collage and textile and printing techniques on canvas. Bright colours, decorative patterns and embroidery enhance and embellish some of the completed works.

Nisha’s most recent venture extends beyond her collection of paintings, taking similar imagery, colour and pattern to develop a range of unique and original handmade products and gifts.
Whilst producing high quality, mounted prints of some of her original paintings she has been creating handmade decoupage/papier-mâché bangles and bowls, resin pendants and handmade cards using a variety of traditional printing and embellishing methods.
